Aluminum is safe on your skin. As a matter of fact, there is a much lower rate of skin reaction with 1100 Pure Aluminum  than with sterling silver.   Also,  1100 Pure Aluminum is much more resistant to tarnish than sterling silver, yet you clean and care for it the same as you would your sterling.  From a design perspective it is perfect for stamping and free hand carving for art pieces.
